Washing of ordinary hats:
- If there is any decoration on the hat, it should be removed first.
- To clean the hat, it is advisable to soak it with clean water and neutral detergent first. Such as laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, etc.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush.
- Brush the sweatband part of the inner ring (the part in contact with the head ring) several times, To thoroughly wash away sweat and bacteria. If you choose antibacterial and deodorant materials, Then this step is skipped.
- Fold the hat into four pieces, shake off the water gently, do not use the washing machine to dehydrate.
- Spread the hat out, stuff it with an old towel, and lay it flat to dry in the shade, never hang it to dry.
Washing of special hats:
- The leather cap can be cleaned with sliced onions, or it can be wiped with a cloth dipped in gasoline along the hair, which can achieve a good cleaning effect.
- Stains on the fine felt hat can be scrubbed with a mixture of ammonia and an equal amount of alcohol. Use a silk cloth to soak up this mixture before scrubbing. Don’t get the hat too wet, or it will lose its shape easily.
- Knitted hats are best filled with crumpled paper and balls of cloth after washing and then allowed to dry.
- Do not wash wool caps as the wool will shrink. If the hat is stained with dust or pet hair, etc., you can use wide-surface tape, fold it back on your fingers, and stick it to remove surface dust.
- Wool hats do not need to be washed every time, but it is easy to shorten the life span. If it reaches the level that must be cleaned, dry cleaning is the most appropriate way.
The specific washing and care techniques are as follows:
If it is just a slight stain (such as a slight stain that was accidentally dropped on the ground while playing on the road), just wipe it off with a damp towel.
If it is a large area and the stain has penetrated into the fabric, it should be washed with water.

Let the wind blow to the inside of the hat body, which will push the hat body outward, and use the heat of the hair dryer to match the moisture in the hat fabric, so that it is equivalent to ironing the hat shape again.

If there is no hat stay, this method can be used instead of the hat stay.
How to hold up the cap shape: Use newspaper to pinch it into a ball shape. Then adjust the adjustment buckle of the hat to the size value of the hat circumference worn at ordinary times, and then stuff the spherical newspaper into the hat. Leave it for more than 24 hours.
